The FIIEE – MINAS GERAIS was created to supply the increasingly needs of a State that currently occupies the second place among the most industrialized in the Country and is the third richest one, only surpassed by São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
The economy in Minas Gerais is diversified, internationalized and concentrates big industries which consume the electrical and electronic industries products and services, such as Vale do Rio Doce, Gerdau Açominas, Fiat Automóveis, Mercedes=Benz, Usiminas, Acesita, CEMIG, among others. Only as an example, CEMIG is responsible for the largest electric energy distribution management in South America, with more than 400 thousand km of extension, and has a generating park including 64 hydroelectric, thermal and Aeolian power stations.
The FIIEE MG is promoted and organized by Alcantara Machado Feiras de Negócios and counts on the sponsoring of the sector main entities: Brazilian Electric and Electronic Industry Association (ABINEE), Union of the Electric, Electronic and Similar Equipments Industry in Minas Gerais (SINAEES-MG), and the Federation of the Industries of the State of Minas Gerais (FIEMG).
The trade fair brings the main innovation in GTD equipments and systems; industrial equipments; electric and electronic components (including laser and optoelectronic technology); installation electric materials; automation and instrumentation; computer science; telecommunications; GTD concessionaires and systems integrators; in addition to the area entities, services and technical publications.
